Thursday March 26- Man plans
Hi !
Man plans and plans and then… well, something comes up and plans change.
In this case, I had a topic I wanted to write about. But last Thursday things took a very interesting and wonderful turn:
My son got engaged!
I’m sharing this piece of personal news because the last week has been a whirlwind of smiles, hugs, activity and more smiles.
I’m on cloud nine. And there have been times where you’d look at me and wonder why there’s a stupid smirk on my face. Now ya know.
This is new territory for me and just starting to navigate everything that comes with making a wedding. (The band costs how much?!)
With everything going on- and trying to get work done while doing my best to avoid having my head knocked off by hypersonic ballistic missiles- I did not have the time to properly compose a regular edition of this enews.
And for that I apologize. I do my best to share content that is helpful and useful. This week? Well, putting it on hold. Really sorry.
Which leads to this: There will be no enews for the next two weeks because of Passover. HOWEVER, as always, I am checking email. So if you need help, have a question I can answer, send it along. My response may be slightly delayed but I’ll be happy to answer and help if I can.
I’ll be back in your inbox April 16 and I’ll be debuting a new tool which can help many of you at work. A little foreshadowing!
But for now I’m gonna enjoy this wonderful time in my life and in the lives of my son and his fiancé. I’m thrilled beyond belief!
Wishing all my Jewish subscribers a chag kasher v’sameach- ALL the matza!!!
If you’ve been on the Internet and social media in the last decade plus, you’re probably familiar with all the Chuck Norris memes. With his passing last week, everyone was sharing their favorites. Here’s one I came across that made me laugh- especially since it was in the Community Notes. (On Twitter, Community Notes allows users to add context to potentially misleading posts.)
I’ll be back in your inbox April 16. Have a great weekend!
P.S. I’m gonna be rooting for both the women’s and men’s UConn basketball teams in March Madness. Go Huskies!
P.P.S. You think the midterms in the U.S. are gonna be nuts? Take a look at who’s running for mayor in the small French town of Arcis-sur-Aube!
